Bookends: Tenth Anniversary. Open Call for Papers.

“Bookends” is an annual conference which is run by postgraduate students in the School of English, University College Cork. This year it is celebrating its tenth anniversary with an open call for papers to best reflect the diversity and scope of the research produced within the School. Papers are invited from all disciplines affiliated with the School of English, such as the MA and PhD in Film Studies, Creative Writing and Digital Arts and Humanities.

 2015 marks the tenth year of the annual Bookends conference!

In addition to paper proposals from students of English, Bookends is now accepting
submissions outside of its disciplinary boundaries from all fields affiliated with the School of
English, such as the MA and PhD in Film Studies, Creative Writing and Digital Arts and
Humanities, to name but a few.

Showcasing graduate research of all levels, from MA and PhD to Postdoctoral, this
conference offers an open call for papers to best reflect the diversity and scope of the
research produced within the School.

This year’s conference will take place on April 23rd and 24th, in ORB 2.12. Proposals are now
invited for papers 15 minutes in length (2,500 words approx.).
